As a staunch advocate for my clients, I represent clients by assisting them in identifying their goals, then discussing the various available options, based on applicable laws. My goal is to resolve my client's case in the most cost-effective way possible. Whatever the potential outcomes of a person’s case, it is important that my clients feel respected and have a sense of dignity. Professional Background
I am an attorney with over 25 years of experience specializing in Family Law. I am also a certified Arbitrator with the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration program, which hears and decides civil dispute cases. In addition, as a Certified Mediator, I specialize in mediating family law disputes using a lower-cost approach. I received my training from the Center for Conflict Resolution. I was a Hearing Panel Member with the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, where I heard cases involving Attorney disciplinary proceedings.

Community Service and Awards
As a volunteer attorney at my church's legal clinic, I provided free legal advice and representation to people who could not afford a lawyer. I am a three-time recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
I helped to create volunteer mediation services in the Parentage Division of the Cook County Domestic Relations Court in Chicago. This program assisted unmarried parents in reaching agreements concerning their children. Based on this work and after providing volunteer mediation weekly, I was honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the Presiding Judge of Domestic Relations.
My Interests
I enjoy traveling and am an avid tennis player and fan. As the proud mother of a teenage boy, I spend time being involved as a booster and driver to his numerous activities.
